This is how i feel sometimes when I am designing for a client. Especially if you do not know the person. The funny thing is they hire a designer and refuse to let the designer do her job!! uufffff then why hire one??

What is one of the best unexpected thing that can happen to u after a LONG LONG day?? Yes I know there are A LOT of things but a7laaaaaahum coming back home and finding 7 boxes from AMAZON ! I quickly went and picked one up, held the top flaps with 2 hands and pulllllllllled the tape ….. nothing happened >< LOL I am not as strong as I think, so I had to get the cutter out.

Our leaders and “manhood”

al salam alaykum

a lot of arabs are saying that our leaders (those coutries who Bush has visited) are lacking manhood, not brave, or lack strength. Arab leaders should not meet with him and just go to war with him and the rest of the world who support him.

To those people who think this way I have a question for you, Are You Serious? :S Is that what islam taught you? Our prophet 3alaih il 9alat wilsalam was? the most peaceful man on earth! So why are most muslims the opposite? He lived with the jews (who were doing all they can to kill him as they did for prophets before him) and he even traded with them and did business with them. If there is a chance to talk to the other side then Why Not Use It?

Think before you speak and even when u do think about something, think about that thought and if it sound stupid or la.

This is my opinion.

Il Salam Alaykum

I know I haven’t been writing a lot in my blog, however the good news is that that I do have an excuse and its not just laziness lol so inshalla inshalla everything goes smoothly (inshalla). Finally I got myself the organizer I was looking for and I am so excited about it! LOL I feel like my brother when he gets a new gameboy. Now I can organize my life a bit hehehe. I took a break before starting again tomorrow and came here to type, I missed it here.

To the people who e-mailed me I am sorry I have replied late or haven’t yet replied please sam7oony inshalla I will reply to you all, I just don’t want you to think I have been ignoring you. I really appreciate you guys taking the time and email me and inshalla you all will get a reply back.

It still hurts to see a lot of the energy from the Bahraini ppl go to waste on riots and stuff if only they would think clearly before acting and turning these emotions and energy into something positive to themselves and their lives. PEOPLE WE HAVE TO OPEN THEIR EYES ON WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! seriously! Anyway I wont get into details because a lot of the people of Bahrain will curse at you if you do not agree with them, you have to agree otherwise ur ***** wana mafeeny shadat-hum il 9ara7a and as i say nab7 il kelab lata’6ir il sama2. I just want them to be a bit civilized, educated, and well mannered and accept other people’s views, just like our profit (3alaih il 9alat wil salam) You love your religion right? Then act? as a Muslim and not as a barbarian terrorist.

To the people who emailed me about the calendar glad you love it and thank you for your comments. A lot of them had good ideas =)

Back in Bahrain

Il salam 3alaykum

I just got back from Jordan and sub7an? allaah? I never NEVER thought that its so pretty! Well to most ppl they would consider Jordan as a normal country? but I couldnt resist not loving it. Actually its the first country I have visited that I felt as if I was at home. The people there are so friendly and cheerful, and whenever someone asks us where we are from and here Bahrain their smile just grows WIDER! Instead from cheek to cheek it turns into a smile from ear to ear LOL HOWEVER ITS COLD!!!!!!!!! Be4 coming? back to Bahrain everyone kept telling me Bahrain is freezing these days. When I ask whats the temperature and here 16 or 17 I laugh hard!! Wallaa ams, last night the temp in Jordan was ZERO!? Be’3ait amooooot min il 7aar when I came back home. Bardhum wayed 7ilo not like us ily yo9al lain il 3a’6m min il re6ooba and cant move a muscle LOL. I love BAHRAIN <3

First of all shushu ma3alaaich shaar yal ‘3aalyaaaa ma2joooraa inshallaaaa (K)

Waiting for the new year to come as soon as possible ! This is the January page in the calendar that I made, and as you can see its an illustrated image of the Pearl Roundabout. I hung it up on my *orange* wall, which my dad says reminds him of restaurants lol. Everyone thought I was crazy when i painted it orange but now e7em e7em all i can say is ‘I told them so’. The February represents the meeethaq and as for the rest inshallaa after I will upload all the images and explain what each month represents.

The calendars will be sold at the book case starting from next week and this Thursday I will be selling them at RUW national day celebration so everyone is welcome to come!

Inshalla I will be posting more pics soon but right now I HAVE TO FINISH THE REST!

Il salaaam 3alaykum

1 down and A LOT more to go!!

This last month has been HECTIC!!! Finally I have one thing done and the rest inshalla will soon follow!!

Ladies and gents here is a graphically illustrated 2008 Bahrain calendar. I have been working on the designs for a while now ( long days + little sleep) and as soon as I got the final results sub7an allaah I felt that it was all worth it!!!! I had to reduce the resolution 3alashan ate6aman that its not going to be easy for people to use my designs.

It will be sold inshalla around Bahrain soon but right now if anyone is interested email? me at desertbloom@blooms-blog.com and get your own copy while they last! I’m still not sure if I will be printing more or just the ones I have. They each cost? 6.5 BD.

Finally I have something done! (Well almost) I have been working on a website dedicated to graphics and web design in arabic.? www.design.blooms-blog.com? as I mentioned there? the reason why I made this site is because A LOT of arabs have been rip-offing designs and saying that its their own. Of course I do not mean ALL and I know that arabs are not the only ones who do it but I really want to help my brothers and sisters. Plus if you browse through arabic websites you would notice that there? is a lack of creativity and IMAGINATION! So inshalla inshalla with the help of the readers we could change that.

I know that? some pages are empty thats cuz I just launched it, but inshalla within a week or 2 they will all be filled with info.

Anyways I have to continue working on the rest of the things. 1 of them INSHALLAAA will be ready tomorrow so hopefully by the beginning of next week you will see it in some shops ;)? but of course I would paste it here be4 the shops start displaying it and selling it.
